Please review our terms of service
These terms govern the use of our enterprise PostgreSQL management platform and all associated support services.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the pgEnterprise website and our managed PostgreSQL services (the "Services"). By accessing or using this website, submitting a contact request or entering into an agreement with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA") or the United Kingdom ("UK"), these Terms are intended to work together with our Privacy Policy to provide the information required under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and similar data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use and protect personal data, as well as your rights under GDPR.
These Terms apply unless you have a signed, separate written agreement with pgEnterprise. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails for the specific scope defined within it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the website or Services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
pgEnterprise provides enterprise-grade managed PostgreSQL services, including design, configuration, maintenance and operational support for secure and reliable database infrastructures. Depending on the selected engagement, our Services may include activities such as high-availability setup, replication configuration, monitoring, backup strategies, performance diagnostics and other PostgreSQL operations.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our Services are limited strictly to PostgreSQL infrastructure management. Application development, application debugging, full-stack administration, end-user support or responsibilities beyond the agreed PostgreSQL scope remain under your control.
Where the provision of Services involves access to personal data or technical environments that contain personal data, pgEnterprise will act as a processor or sub-processor (depending on the situation), and such processing will be governed by GDPR where applicable. Details of how we process personal data, as well as your rights, are described in our Privacy Policy. Additional data processing terms may apply in a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) when required by GDPR.
All information on this website regarding Services, features and scope is for general guidance only. Binding terms, pricing and service levels are defined in written proposals or agreements.
When using our website or Services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and to follow the obligations listed below. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of access to our Services.
If GDPR applies to your organization, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring a lawful basis for processing personal data stored in systems that pgEnterprise manages on your behalf, and for providing any required notices to data subjects.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide secure, reliable and high-quality Services, no online or managed infrastructure can be guaranteed to be error-free or uninterrupted. All information on this website is provided on an "as-is" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, pgEnterprise and its owners, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, business interruption or reputational harm.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be restricted under GDPR or other mandatory laws (for example, liability arising from intentional misconduct or violations of certain data protection obligations when acting as a data processor).
In all other circumstances, and to the extent permitted by law, any direct liability shall be limited to the total fees paid to pgEnterprise for the Services giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
If you have questions about these Terms, our Services, or how we handle personal data under GDPR, please use the contact form available below and mention "Terms" or "GDPR inquiry" in your message. This helps us route your request to the appropriate team.
We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, taking into account the nature of your inquiry and applicable data protection obligations.
For matters related to data protection compliance, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which explains how to exercise your GDPR rights and how to contact us regarding personal data.
